Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://4dental.app (the hub and checkout website), related product websites https://4dental.clinic and https://4dental-lab.com, and the desktop software products 4Dental Clinic and 4Dental Lab (together, the “Software”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Software or these websites, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

4Dental products are provided by the operator of 4dental.app (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact: hello@4dental.app.

2. Payments and Merchant of Record

Online purchases for Clinic and Lab licenses are completed on https://4dental.app and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. When you buy through our checkout, you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms and checkout terms. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable sales taxes where required. For billing questions about a charge on your statement, you may contact Paddle and/or us at hello@4dental.app.

3. License grant

Subject to payment and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software product you purchased (4Dental Clinic or 4Dental Lab) according to the plan shown at checkout (for example lifetime or other plans offered).

• You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or publicly redistribute the Software.
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass license or security mechanisms except where applicable law expressly allows.
• License keys are typically bound to a device (hardware ID). Device resets may be available through support where appropriate.
• License keys and entitlements are for your use (and your authorized staff) only.

4. Accounts and activation

You are responsible for keeping license keys and activation details confidential. You must provide accurate contact information (including email) at checkout so we can deliver license information and support.

5. Practice and laboratory data

The Software is designed so that clinic or laboratory data can be stored locally on systems you control. You remain solely responsible for records, backups, security, and compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction (including health and privacy rules where they apply). We do not provide medical or dental advice; the Software is a management tool only.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the websites or Software, including attempting unauthorized access, disrupting service, sharing licenses in breach of these Terms, or using the products for unlawful purposes.

7. Support

Support is provided on a commercially reasonable basis via hello@4dental.app. Response times may vary.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The websites and Software are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for verifying that the Software meets your operational needs before relying on it in production.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the Software or websites. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software or websites is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
