This Privacy Notice explains how the operator of 4dental.app (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal information when you visit https://4dental.app, https://4dental.clinic, or https://4dental-lab.com; contact us; or purchase 4Dental Clinic or 4Dental Lab desktop software.

1. Who is responsible

For website enquiries and license delivery related to 4Dental products, contact: hello@4dental.app.

For payment checkout, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes payment data under Paddle’s own privacy notice. We do not receive your full card number.

2. Information we collect

• Contact / support data: name, email, and message content you submit.
• Purchase-related data: email and name associated with your order, transaction identifiers, product purchased, and license delivery details (via Paddle and/or our systems).
• License / activation data: license keys, product type, and device hardware identifiers used to enforce activation limits.
• Technical data: basic server logs (for example IP address, browser type, timestamps) when you use our websites.
• Cookies / similar tech: only as needed for the site to function (for example preferences stored locally in your browser).

3. Patient / lab data in the Software

4Dental Clinic and 4Dental Lab are desktop applications intended to store practice or laboratory information locally on systems you control. We do not operate your clinic or lab database in the cloud by default. You are the controller of patient, clinical, or production data you enter into the Software and must comply with applicable health and privacy laws.

• To respond to enquiries and provide support
• To process orders, deliver licenses, and prevent fraud or abuse
• To operate, secure, and improve the websites and licensing systems
• To meet legal and accounting obligations

5. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data based on: performance of a contract (orders and licenses), legitimate interests (securing and improving our services, responding to enquiries), consent (where required), and legal obligations.

6. Sharing

We may share personal data with:

• Paddle — payments, invoices, taxes, refunds
• Hosting and email providers — website hosting and transactional emails
• Professional advisers or authorities — when required by law

We do not sell your personal information.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers.

8. Retention

We keep purchase and license records as needed for support, fraud prevention, and legal/accounting requirements. Contact messages are kept as long as reasonably needed to handle your request. You may ask us to delete data where we are not required to keep it.

Our websites and Software are directed to businesses and professionals, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
